Briar Cliff's Swimming With the Sharks Competition Winner!
This past month I prepared and setup a presentation for a grant contest put on by Briar Cliff University's Enactus Board.
After giving a speech to a small crowd of people and a panel of judges detailing what my business is and what money would be used for, the panel of judges deliberated for 30 minutes and I was lucky enough to be selected as the winner!
I am planning on ordering new clubs to be used as rental sets for future kids, women's, and men's clinics.

New Putting Pad
I recently have purchased some new party lights. This new upgrade is great for when you want to get in the mood to have fun with friends. The picture shows an event I recently hosted that showcases the new lights! Pretty much any color is achievable!
I also recently just purchased a small 20 foot section of turf to practice putting on. Although there isn't much break, it does allow you to work on your distance control and consistency.

New Control Station
In the past month we have made some more upgrades to the building! There is now an official "Control Station" in the sim. It houses the trackman, speakers, computer, and more!
The back door railing now has siding put up for a sleeker look and is currently in the process of being painted.
Inside I have setup a small studio that I will use to make videos of how golf clubs work. It is equipped with a microphone, ring-light, overhead projector camera, and a 3-D Printer for making anything your mind can imagine!
I will be ordering ambient lighting for the bay to make events feel more cozy in the coming days!

Baby #1 Arriving in August!
My wife and I are happy to announce that this upcoming August we will be introducing to the first tee our first baby! We are looking forward to this exciting time.
Friends, family, and so many of my students have been congratulating us. We are incredibly appreciative of all the support we have received since making this big announcement.
Sam is going to be the best Mom ever and if I'm even half as good at being a Dad as I am at teaching golf lessons then I think our child will be A-Okay!

PGA HOPE Certified
I recently completed PGA Hope training. By completing this training I will be able to start working with the PGA of America Nebraska Section to setup dates to hold PGA Hope Clinics.
PGA Hope is a 6-8 week clinic where Veterans are able to come learn golf in a group of other Veterans. This clinic is built to give back to those who have given so much to our country and helps bring Vets together in an environment built to foster comradery. These clinics will be for all Veterans at no cost to the participant.
More news about these clinics will come out once the dates and funding have been approved!
